Context

Impact

To foster cross-functional collaboration across its expanding portfolio, the client—a private equity firm with a buy-and-hold model—needed a secure, centralized digital platform.


With over 250 executives operating across acquired subsidiaries worldwide, knowledge-sharing was fragmented. Communications lived in siloed inboxes, Slack threads, and personal phones. There was no system of record for shared resources, peer connection, or internal best practices.


Executives were disconnected—unable to collaborate, engage, or access strategic documentation. Content had to be manually distributed, discussion groups couldn’t form organically, and onboarding for new acquisitions was inconsistent.


A solution had to be delivered swiftly—in under 30 days—and aligned with governance policies, SSO requirements, and existing Salesforce permissioning. There was no room for tech debt or post-launch patchwork. The platform had to work at launch—and scale with the firm’s operational maturity.

As the only technical resource on the team, I Led the end-to-end rollout of an Experience Cloud portal—delivered solo within 25 days. Key features included:

People Directory & Org-wide Content Sharing

Structured a shared space for downloadable resources, announcements, and internal knowledge — built using custom objects and Salesforce AppExchange extensions.
